Homemade Gifts?

So I decided that I am fed up of the rushing around at Christmas trying to find gifts for everyone. I never know what to buy and end up spending loads of money on stuff that probably gets shoved in the cupboard never to be seen again. For this reason, I have been scouting for patterns for things to make to put a personal touch on Christmas.

It is a time for nearest and dearest and a time to show how much we love them. What better way than a personal touch and a present that has time and effort gone into it. I have been making a start on clearing the house of things I really don't need and any proceeds I make will go towards my wool fund. 

I'm really enjoying the knitting, it is relaxing and has stopped me snacking at night as my hands are busy doing other stuff. I'm getting more confident with my techniques and my mum is being really helpful too.

I have decided to make Mark a jumper which is a mammoth task but I'm really excited about it to be honest! We have chosen wool and a pattern so just need to wait until I have enough to buy the wool and then I'm going to make a start!
