A little bit of knitting...

So yesterday whilst browsing in a charity shop, I picked up some knitting needles and some wool. 

£1 for the British Heart Foundation... A new old hobby for me.

I used to knit when I was younger. It would always end up with loads of holes and be so tight I could never get my needles in to keep knitting. I wasn't great I don't mind admitting.
My mum, my grandma and my great grandma are/were amazing with a pair of knitting needles. So I'm sort of hoping my genes do me wonders.

I started with some simple basics and decided I wanted to give myself a challenge. So I am tackling a chunky knit baby blanket in a really nice lime green.

I am going to blog as I learn and pick up tips to share with anyone who may be interested!
